ARK Directional Services Inc. is dedicated to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for all employees, sub-contractors, clients, and visitors. An injury and accident free workplace is our goal. To achieve this, all levels of management are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe work place with proper procedures, training, and equipment to ensure that work activities are performed in compliance with accepted industry standards and government regulations. ARK Directional Services Inc. meets or exceeds all legislative and industry standards in Canada and the United States.
- Observing all safety rules
- Following safe work procedures
- Wearing and using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
- Participating in regular and consistent safety training
- Adhering to ARK Directional Services Inc. Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Acting courteously at all times, including while traveling to and from the job site
Additionally, all employees are required to maintain the following minimum training:
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- TDG
- WHMIS
- Lithium Battery Response Training
- Corporate and client orientation/site specific training
As of September 2009 ARK Directional Services has achieved a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Alberta Employment and Immigration's Partnerships in Injury Reduction Program, .
To ensure our existing and future clients are fully aware of our commitment to our safety program, and to easily view our HS&E records, ARK Directional Services Inc. has joined ISNetworld & PECPremier ,which are widely recognized by oil and gas operators.
